Changing plans and payment details

Everything billing-related is self-serve under Settings → Billing. Payments and card details are handled by Stripe — Nightbooks never stores your card number.

Common tasks

• Change plan — switch tier or between monthly and annual; Stripe prorates automatically, so upgrades charge only the difference and downgrades credit it.

• Update card — the Manage billing button opens the secure Stripe portal where cards are added and changed.

• View invoices — every past invoice and receipt lives in the same Stripe portal, ready to download for your own books.

• Cancel — also in the Stripe portal; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for.

After cancelling

Your data remains available read-only — you can log in, view everything, and export what you need. Resubscribing later picks up the same organisation exactly where it left off; nothing is deleted when a subscription ends.

Nightbooks subscriptions are a deductible business expense — and yes, the Stripe invoice for Nightbooks can be forwarded straight into your Nightbooks Inbox.
