Notification preferences

Settings → Notifications controls how Nightbooks reaches you: email notifications, browser notifications, or both — and which kinds of events trigger each.

What Nightbooks notifies about

  • GST — return periods approaching and due dates, so filing never sneaks up on you.

  • Bank feeds — sync problems and connections that need re-authorising.

  • Invoices — sent, viewed and paid activity on your sales.

  • Team — invites accepted and membership changes.

The bell always has your back

In-app, the bell in the top bar collects everything regardless of your email and browser preferences — so turning down the noise never means missing something important. Unread items are badged until you have seen them.

A sensible quiet setup: email for GST due dates only, browser notifications off, and let the bell catch the rest whenever you are in the app.
